Stunning location overlooking a valley. Beautiful accommodation, very friendly owners and good food. A perfect quiet retreat and we had the added bonus of seeing the fireflys in the forest

If this is your "thing" (i.e. you don't mind leaving behind your urban habits), this is a place where you will feel pure happiness. Peace, harmony and love reign here. The landscape is stunning, the silence is just unbelievable (one hears only signing birds and running waters), the food is fresh and healthy (you get to know personally the hen that made it) - in two words, you forget all your worries and the ugliness of this world. Plus, if you prefer, you still stay connected to the world through free wifi that works.

Host were great and friendly- feel that we have meet new friends! Beautiful property and lovely restored buildings. Lots of room. Pool on site. Dinner was very Tuscan and tastie. Great views.Near Michangelo's birth place.
It is a bit out of the way, lots of mountain roads to get there.

Wonderful hosts and beautiful location and views. The morning chorus of birdsong was a wall of sound. Fellow guests were very good company. When dinner not available we were given lift to good restaurants and picked up later!
Not really a complaint. We were warned by email about the potential difficulty of finding the hotel and also the fact that access was via an unmade road - however we received this on the day we left for Italy which was the day before staying at Il Vigno. An earlier email would be useful.

The hosts, Alice and Giulio, were amazing. The agriturismo is very charming and modern. The food was fantastic. The location was nice, a bit isolated but great for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the countryside. The pool was nice and clean.
No negatives! Everything was great.

This is the best place we have stayed in Italy. So very relaxing. My wife and I love this place and will return and will stay at least a week next time. We want to relax and this is the place. The hosts, Giulio and Alice, are just wonderful people. Their goal is to make your stay the best possible and they suceeded.

Could not recommend it enough. Il Vigno was incredible. A beautiful haven in the mountains. Far away from the tourists and cities this is the place to come and relax. Bring yourself a book and an appetite as Alice is a brilliant cook. Alice and Julio were so welcoming and generous. Two genuinely lovely people that you can't help but adore instantly. The building itself is prefect. Rustic, but modern with the most elegant small touches. The room, the view, the kitchen, and communal areas were perfect. It is not a hotel it is an Agritutismo and we loved it that way. Staying here was truly a highlight of our entire trip to Italy and we were sad that we only booked two days.

We enjoyed our stay at Il Vigno very much. Friendly hosts make you feel at home. It takes some time to get there through the mountains, but it is really an ideal, quiet place to relax in the beautiful Tuscany surroundings..
